Rezvani Dune, the 800 HP supercar built beyond the road

Rezvani transforms the Lamborghini Huracán into a carbon-fibre off-road supercar riding on massive 31-inch tyres

The Rezvani Dune takes its 800 HP V10 beyond the road with raised suspension, all-wheel drive and production limited to seven examples

Some cars are designed to follow the road. Others appear determined to leave it behind. The new Rezvani Dune clearly belongs to the latter group, combining a carbon-fibre body, a supercharged V10 engine and a purpose-engineered suspension developed for sand, mud, snow and rocky terrain.

Its technical foundations may come from the Lamborghini Huracán, but the finished vehicle moves far beyond the familiar Italian supercar formula. Rezvani has taken a machine created to remain close to the tarmac and reshaped it into a high-riding, wide-bodied performance car with genuine off-road ambitions.

A supercharged V10 producing 800 HP

Behind the passenger compartment sits a 5.2-litre V10, now equipped with a supercharger. The upgraded engine develops a claimed 800 HP and 785 lb-ft of torque, giving the Dune the power delivery expected from an exotic supercar with considerably more low-end force.

A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission works alongside a full-time intelligent all-wheel-drive system. This combination has been selected not only for outright performance, but also to make the engine’s output more manageable when the surface becomes loose, uneven or unpredictable.

Suspension developed for the terrain ahead

The most substantial changes can be found beneath the carbon-fibre body. Rezvani has fitted completely redesigned front and rear suspension systems that raise the vehicle by 4.5 inches compared with the Lamborghini Huracán.

When the larger off-road tyres are included, the overall increase in ground clearance reaches six inches over the original factory specification. The Dune offers 11 inches, or approximately 28 centimetres, of clearance beneath the vehicle.

Its approach angle reaches up to 25 degrees, while the departure angle rises to 35 degrees. Underbody protection has also been installed to help shield essential components when the car encounters rocks, deep ruts or abrupt changes in terrain.

Thirty-one-inch tyres beneath a carbon body

The Dune runs on 20-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch mud-terrain tyres. Reinforced sidewalls are intended to withstand demanding surfaces, while an integrated monitoring system allows the driver to keep track of tyre pressures as conditions change.

At 88 inches wide, equivalent to just over 2.23 metres, the car has an imposing footprint. High-clearance wheel arches, strengthened bumpers and its raised stance create a silhouette that feels closer to a desert competition vehicle than to a conventional low-slung exotic.

Selectable settings for sand, mud and snow

Rezvani’s Advanced Terrain Management System offers dedicated driving modes for sand, mud, rock crawling, snow, Baja-style driving and normal road use. These settings are designed to adjust the vehicle’s behaviour according to the grip and response required by each environment.

This technology helps explain the intentions behind the project. The Dune is not simply a supercar with oversized tyres and adventurous styling. Its suspension, drivetrain and electronic systems have been developed to make travelling away from paved roads a genuine part of the driving experience.

Functional details within a dramatic design

The body is constructed from carbon fibre to reduce the additional weight associated with the off-road conversion. Its design incorporates functional heat extractors, auxiliary LED lighting, reinforced bumpers, front recovery hooks and a rear towing package.

A roof-mounted air snorkel adds another unmistakable detail to the exterior. While the design is deliberately theatrical, many of its components have a practical purpose, from improving night-time visibility to protecting the body during difficult passages.

An interior shaped around its owner

Rezvani has developed purpose-built ergonomic seats for the Dune, with more than ten styles available. Each of the seven vehicles can be configured around the preferences of its owner, giving the limited production run an individual, almost bespoke character.

The cabin therefore retains the exclusivity expected from a modern supercar while supporting a vehicle with a very different personality. It is aimed at drivers who see an unpaved track as an invitation rather than a reason to turn around.

Only seven examples will be produced

Production will be restricted to just seven examples. Reservations are already available through a refundable deposit of 1,500 dollars, although Rezvani has not yet announced the final price of the completed vehicle.

The limited number makes the Dune less a direct competitor to conventional production supercars and more an exclusive automotive commission. Its appeal rests on rarity, personalisation and a refusal to fit comfortably within an established category.

A different vision of the modern supercar

The Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato have already shown that high-performance cars can explore rougher environments without abandoning their original character. Rezvani takes that concept considerably further through greater clearance, larger tyres and a more aggressive interpretation of off-road capability.

The result brings together two very different traditions. The V10 engine belongs to the world of exotic road cars, while the suspension, protective equipment and terrain modes borrow from desert racers and serious off-road machinery.

It may not be the most discreet vehicle for arriving at a Mediterranean marina, but that is hardly the point. The Rezvani Dune has been created for owners who want the journey to remain interesting even after the asphalt comes to an end.
