Data collected and purposes of processing

A) Website browsing
Purpose: to ensure the operation of the website and provide the browsing service on the platform.
Legal basis: the Controller’s legitimate interest in the proper operation of the platform.
The data collected during browsing include:
• IP addresses or domain names of the devices used by users;
• URI/URL addresses of the requested resources;
• time of the request, method used for the request to the server, size of the file obtained in response;
• numerical status code of the server response (successful, error, etc.);
• other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These non-identifying data are collected for statistical purposes and to monitor the operation of the website. Providing these data is necessary in order to access the website and use its services.

B) Information requests via email, WhatsApp or contact form
Purpose: to respond to information requests sent by email, WhatsApp or through the contact form on the website.
Legal basis: the consent given by the user when submitting the request.
The data voluntarily provided by the user via email or contact form will be used exclusively to respond to the information request. Providing these data is optional; however, without them it will not be possible to respond to the request.

Data retention period

Personal data will be retained in paper and/or electronic format only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated, in compliance with users’ privacy and applicable regulations.
• Browsing data: up to 7 days, unless retention is necessary to investigate possible cyber offences.
• Data relating to information requests via email, WhatsApp or contact form: retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the request, or for a maximum of 6 months.

Recipients of the data

Personal data may be shared with:
• technical service providers (for example website hosting and technical support);
• affiliated companies for the provision of certain service features (for example analysis and SEO optimisation).
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties or outside the European Union, except when external services are used (for example Google Analytics), which ensure GDPR compliance through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers to the United States.

Rights of the data subject

Users have the right to:
• access their personal data;
• request the rectification of inaccurate data;
• request the deletion of data that are no longer necessary;
• object to the processing of their data on legitimate grounds.

Cookie Policy

The website uses technical cookies, which are essential for the operation of the platform, and third-party cookies for statistical analysis (Google Analytics).

Displaying external content and services

• Google Analytics (Google Inc.): a web analytics service provided by Google to monitor and analyse website traffic. Data collected: cookies and usage data. Place of processing: USA – Privacy Policy – Opt Out.
• YouTube Video Widget (Google Inc.): a service that allows video content hosted on YouTube to be displayed directly on the website pages. Data collected: cookies and usage data. Place of processing: USA – Privacy Policy.

Definitions and legal references

Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Usage Data: information collected automatically, such as IP addresses, URIs of requested resources, and browser and operating system characteristics.
Data Controller: the owner of the platform, responsible for decisions concerning the processing of data.
