The new Pardo 43 renews an Italian walkaround icon with brighter spaces, greater comfort and performance of up to 37 knots

Some boats follow trends, while others quietly end up creating them. The Pardo 43 belongs to the latter group. First introduced in 2017, it helped establish a new interpretation of the Mediterranean walkaround, bringing together sporting character, understated elegance and unrestricted movement on deck. The model now enters a new stage of its development without abandoning the lines and proportions that made it instantly recognisable.

A success story shaped by the sea

The new model builds on the legacy of a yacht that reached 333 deliveries in seven years. That figure shows how effectively the Pardo 43 appealed to owners across different countries and boating cultures while retaining a distinctly Italian personality. Its evolution therefore does not attempt to replace a successful formula, but makes it more contemporary, comfortable and suitable for owners who want to spend entire days on board rather than simply travel from one destination to another.

A sharper and brighter profile

The reverse bow remains one of the Pardo 43’s defining features, although the overall silhouette now appears sleeker and more muscular. New hull windows visually lighten the exterior and bring additional daylight below deck, while the connection between the windscreen and redesigned carbon T-Top gives the yacht a more compact and dynamic appearance. An extended forward sunpad and sculpted aft sections introduce subtle references to high-performance cars without turning the design into a purely stylistic exercise.

A deck designed for effortless movement

The walkaround arrangement provides easy access to every part of the yacht through wide and well-protected side decks. Handrails, integrated steps and unobstructed pathways make it simple to move between the stern, helm station and forward lounge. This becomes especially valuable when several guests are on board, as everyone can use the different relaxation areas without creating congested passageways.

Social life takes centre stage aft

The aft lounge can accommodate up to ten guests and is arranged around ergonomic seating and an extendable table. Once lowered, the table converts the area into an additional sunpad, allowing the layout to change with the rhythm of the day. An outdoor galley can be equipped with an induction hob, barbecue, refrigerators and generous storage. Preparing lunch or serving drinks at sunset becomes part of the experience rather than an activity hidden away from the guests.

Two lounges and two ways to enjoy the surroundings

The bow has also been developed as a social space. A large sunpad is joined by a forward-facing bench, creating a second and more private lounge overlooking the water. Guests can therefore choose between the lively atmosphere of the aft cockpit and a quieter position at the bow. An electrically operated bimini integrated into the T-Top and a concealed sliding companionway help keep the deck uncluttered while making everyday use more intuitive.

Flexible interiors for weekends and coastal cruising

Below deck, the enlarged hull windows increase the sense of space and maintain a visual connection with the sea. The interior by Nauta Design combines selected fabrics, leather and wood finishes within a clean contemporary setting. Different configurations are available, including a fixed double berth or a convertible dinette, together with a second cabin containing two single beds. The bathroom includes a shower with an integrated seat, adding useful comfort during longer stays on board.

Technology that remains easy to understand

The helm can be fitted with three touchscreen displays bringing together charts, navigation data and the yacht’s main onboard systems. Air conditioning, lighting and audio can be controlled through a single interface, reducing the number of separate commands required by the owner. A customisable lighting system also allows the atmosphere to change throughout the day, from bright daytime cruising to quieter evenings at anchor.

An aft platform that brings the sea closer

The hydraulic up-and-down swim platform aligns with the tender garage and simplifies launching and recovery operations. An electric bathing ladder and concealed passerelle preserve the clean shape of the stern when not in use. More than a technical feature, this area works as an extension of the deck, providing easy access from the dock, a convenient route into the water and a practical space for tender management.

Sporting performance with intuitive control

Measuring 14 metres overall with a maximum beam of 4.20 metres, the Pardo 43 can be powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 500, 600 or 650 units. In its more powerful configurations, the yacht has a declared maximum speed of up to 37 knots. Joystick control assists with harbour manoeuvres, while the rational layout of the engine room improves access for inspections and maintenance. Fuel capacity is approximately 1,300 litres, accompanied by a 400-litre freshwater tank.

An evolution that remains true to its character

The new Pardo 43 does not try to become a completely different yacht, and that restraint is central to its appeal. It retains the reverse bow, walkaround deck and balance of sportiness and elegance that shaped the success of the original model, while introducing brighter interiors, more flexible spaces and technology that is easier to manage. It can move naturally between a fast day exploring nearby bays, a weekend at anchor and a more extended coastal cruise, always preserving a direct and uncomplicated relationship with the sea.
