Stepping aboard a yacht should not mean leaving the sea behind and retreating into enclosed rooms. On the new Arcadia A80new, the surrounding landscape remains part of everyday life, entering through broad glazed surfaces and accompanying guests from the first light of morning to the quietest hours of the evening. The result is a sub-24-metre yacht that delivers comfort without creating distance from nature.

A new balance below 24 metres

Measuring 23.98 metres in overall length with a beam of 6.95 metres, the A80new makes careful use of every available space to create generous and easily connected living areas. Remaining below the 24-metre threshold is more than a technical decision. It supports a freer style of cruising for owners who want to explore bays, harbours and anchorages while enjoying the volumes normally associated with larger yachts.

The feeling of being outdoors throughout the day

The design avoids a rigid division between the interior and the open decks. Sliding doors, opening windows and extensive glazing allow daylight and natural air to flow through the yacht. The sea remains visible from the saloon, while the connection with the aft cockpit creates a continuous social area for dining, relaxing or watching the coastline gradually change.

An upper deck designed as a private sea terrace

One of the A80new’s most distinctive features is its approximately 80-square-metre upper deck. Rather than serving only as a panoramic platform, it becomes a versatile living area that can be used throughout the day. Social gatherings, peaceful breaks and more intimate moments can all take place here, with the sun, breeze and horizon remaining close at hand.

The stern becomes part of the holiday

The beach area brings guests closer to the water. Its bathing platform can be used for swimming, sunbathing or launching a tender and water toys. Glass bulwarks and uninterrupted sightlines reduce the visual weight of the yacht’s structure, making the stern feel like a natural extension of the sea rather than a separate environment.

A calm owner’s suite away from the activity

The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, where the widebody configuration provides additional width, privacy and natural light. Four further guest cabins are located on the lower deck, designed with soft colours, clean surfaces and practical storage. This arrangement allows family and friends to share the journey while maintaining their own private spaces.

Comfort also depends on what guests do not see

The crew areas are arranged to keep service routes separate from guest circulation. The galley, operational spaces and dedicated accommodation support discreet and efficient service throughout the day. It may be less immediately visible than a panoramic terrace, but it becomes essential when the yacht is used for extended periods.

Efficiency without chasing extreme speed

The standard propulsion package consists of two Volvo Penta IPS 1200 units, selected to combine manoeuvrability, comfort and controlled fuel consumption. The yacht can reach a top speed of around 21 knots, although its character is most apparent at relaxed cruising speeds. At 10 knots, the reported fuel consumption is approximately 50 litres per hour, reflecting a yacht designed for measured and enjoyable travel rather than speed for its own sake.

Solar energy becomes part of everyday cruising

Solar panels installed on the upper deck hardtop can generate up to approximately 4.5 kW, with the collected energy stored in the yacht’s batteries. This contributes to powering selected hotel services without requiring the generators to operate continuously. Opening windows and side doors also encourage natural ventilation, reducing the need for air conditioning whenever weather conditions allow.

A quieter interpretation of onboard wellbeing

The A80new does not rely on excessive decoration or spectacular features with little practical value. Its personality comes from daylight, fluid spaces and the freedom to move between sociable and private settings during the same day. It is intended for owners who believe that true privilege is not simply reaching a destination, but having the time and space to experience it properly.
