This architectural masterpiece is a 10-minute drive from the historic center of Palma. As the name of the villa suggests, consisting of three buildings, for a total of 27,000 square feet it is able to change its colors at nightfall.Thousands of LED lights incorporated in the glass balconies of the house, throughout the interior, in each of the two large swimming pools and on the edges of the walkways can, at the touch of a remote control, be programmed to shine in a multitude of shades. To produce the maximum effect, the panels have been specially engraved to allow light to diffuse through the glass, offering an extraordinary glow. You can choose between deep red, lime green, deep purple and midnight blue. Or a combination of each.Built in 2012 by a Swiss-German consortium, Villa Chameleon clings to the edge of a hill. The three-storey main house has on the first floor the main living area, the professional kitchen, a dining room, a TV room, a library and a cinema. Huge glass doors open to give access to the pool area.A glass lift takes you to the air-conditioned basement with a five-car garage, cellar and staff apartment. On the second floor is the sprawling master suite with its extraordinary floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a private spa, changing rooms and large terraces offering incredible views towards the port of Palma and the blue Mediterranean. This floor also has three other bedrooms with private bathrooms. An adjacent lower building, reachable through a Bond-style tunnel, has a huge space dedicated to health and well-being. An extraordinary feature of the smaller of the rooftop pools are its glass sides which allow swimmers to look down into the spa area below. In addition to all this, there is a third building representing a separate 2,200 square foot two-story guesthouse, with a living room, kitchen, terraces and three other bedrooms.
