Built by Dutch shipyard Amels Yachts in 2010, the support ship underwent a substantial refit in 2017 by Murray and Associates in Indonesia that turned it into an entirely new vessel. The interior and exterior of the ship were designed by Amels. The peculiarities that distinguish it are definitely the wide spaces on board, given its support function. The large garage, along with the mighty hydraulic crane, allow it to comfortably transport a wide range of tenders and watertoys including two Triton submarines.Umbra is also equipped with an area equipped for deep diving and a large workshop for the maintenance of the transported vehicles. It can accommodate up to 19 crew members in seven cabins: two cabins with four beds, two twin cabins, a triple cabin and two cabins with private bathroom for the captain and chief engineer.
