It is a faithful and detailed reproduction of the original Rainbow built in 1930, which won the America’s Cup four years after the launch. Rainbow was built according to J Class standards and boasts high-tech features such as carbon rigging and hydraulic management, which make it extremely competitive on the racing circuit.Dykstra Naval Architechts developed Rainbow from the original plans of the 1934 America’s Cup winner and slightly smoothed its lines, making it more hydrodynamic. It can be described as a modern classic. Rainbow was successful at the Maxi Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo and at the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, BVI.The interiors of DeVosDeVries Design make it the ideal yacht charter for elegant crossings and Art Deco cutlery. There is a beautiful dining room and good accommodation for the permanent crew. Today, after the 2016 refit, it presents a dazzling shape, renewing its already extraordinary beauty.
