The yacht was launched on February 18, "it represents a milestone for the Emirates-based yacht builder," as the shipyard says. The sea trials will take place in the coming weeks and will see the yacht’s electrical system, engines and generators under control.

Gulf Craft CEO Paul Gray described the first sea trial as "another success adds to the production milestones already achieved [...] the fiberglass and carbon fiber superyacht is truly a masterpiece and perfect example of what the future of international yacht building will look like. "

The shipyard said it had adjusted the expected delivery date of the yacht in late April following outages caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus. Gray added that the famous interior designer who oversaw the project, Cristiano Gatto, is being quarantined in the United Arab Emirates in order to follow the project in its entirety.

The Majesty 120 model was first presented by executive president Mohammed H. Alshaali at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

The superyacht is available with two layouts; one with five cabins and one with six. Gatto described the interiors as "fresh and light", with key materials such as "lacquer, light woods and marble". He added: "For me, Majesty 120 perfectly captures the direction in which this brand is moving: innovation, technology and style."
