Based on the brand’s famous Opera collection, the new Opera Scarface features an integrated music box comprising 120 notes. Just a pusher pressure at 10 o’clock and the clock starts to sound the theme "Bolivia" from the famous 1983 film, while the entire dial rotates 120 degrees.During movement, the dial remains in the correct position 12/6 thanks to a patented differential system. Further references to the film can be found under the domed and anti-reflective sapphire crystal case.Among the characteristic details are a small 18K piano in black lacquered gold that moves as the music plays, along with a striking bright red Scarface tag featuring the silhouette of Tony Montana, the film’s protagonist. The watch is powered by Jacob & Co.’s triple-axis tourbillon movement, which is wrapped in a 18K rose gold violin crank on the side of the watch. Iconic the globe in the center of the dial engraved the historical phrase: "The world is yours".The power reserve for movement and the music box are separated, so the watch can work for 42 hours in a row, while the music box can be played three times before having to rewind it. The watch is available in black DLC titanium or 18K rose gold. The Opera Scarface watch is a limited edition and will include only 88 pieces. It is currently available for purchase through the Jacob & Co website.www.jacobandco.com
