The design of the ship was taken care of by Francesco Guida who developed it following the guidelines provided by the owner who wanted an open yacht that resembled a luxury penthouse. The yacht was selected by Lawson Robb’s senior designer George Wolstenholme, who was in charge of selecting and commissioning the construction of the yacht. He began by researching models and construction sites that suited the client’s tastes and lifestyle. He chose the Extra 86 for its dynamic style and its functional predisposition for custom adaptation of internal and external spaces. Key features of the ship include a wheelhouse at the bow, a large saloon and aft deck. The main hall has been customized to allow the owner an area dedicated to the display of a prestigious work of art.Onboard accommodation is for a total of eight guests in four cabins, including a full beam master suite, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins, all equipped with private bathrooms.Haze has a 24 square meter flybridge with a bar and barbecue area. Integrated solar panels cover the main hall.Powered by Volvo IPS 1350 engines, Haze has a top speed of 21 knots and can sail at 16 knots.
