EHang made the first test flights to the Yantai area, a coastal city in eastern China.

An EHang 216 flew four passengers on a sea trip around the beautiful Fisherman’s Wharf.

Passengers were thrilled with their experience on this innovative fully automatic flying taxi. They commented: “It was fantastic. I felt safe on the trip. The EHang 216 flew at a steady pace and I hardly felt turbulence. It is the first time that I fly over the city and it has been magnificent. I can’t wait to take another trip!"

This first test flight is part of EHang’s largest global flight tour, which aims to demonstrate the reliability and versatility of its products. The vehicles will be used to perform various tasks including passenger transport, tourist tours and emergency medical assistance.
