Built in the Azimut shipyard in Viareggio, the yacht sports naval architecture and external lines designed by Stefano Righini, while the interiors are designed by Galeazzi Design based in Rome. La Rubia is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests divided into five cabins, and has room for up to eight crew members. To relax the ship offers a solarium, a Jacuzzi and sun loungers outside, and has a large garage for water toys and tenders.

The Rubia is powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M91 engines which allow a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum of 28 knots. With her 16,400 liters of fuel tank, she has an autonomy of 700 nautical miles at a speed of 14 knots.
