With hot-formed steel plates and special 3D-printed protective parts, Brabus’s Invicto G-Wagen has a VR6 ballistic protection level. In the event that this was not enough to ensure the safety of guests on board, each vehicle was equipped with the Invicto VR6 Plus ERV (Explosion Resistant Vehicle) package in case the attackers decided to use a rocket launcher.

Despite investments in armor, Brabus also took care of the car’s design, trying to make it more like the standard G-Wagen. The Pure level interiors are the same as a standard G63, while the Luxury features a bespoke and handcrafted interior created using fine leather and Alcantara. The Mission Invicto, on the other hand, is intended to be used as a spare vehicle for "special target groups" and has seats compatible with protective vests, doorman with "Molle" system, a digital rear-view mirror, a system intercom and a 20-inch off-road tires.

Although the members of the Invicto series are heavier, at nearly 2,205 pounds, than a standard G-Wagen, performance has not dropped. In fact, thanks to Brabus’s B40S-800 performance kit, its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 can produce 789 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. This means that the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just eight seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 130 mph.

No pricing information has yet been released for the G-Wagens Invicto line.
