The agreement between SO / Hotels & Resorts, famous luxury brand, with Sotogrande SA for the opening of the company’s first hotel in the prestigious location is confirmed.

“SO/ is the most avant-garde brand in Accor’s luxury portfolio, which combines vibrant local energy with creative gastronomic experiences and modern luxury service. The opening of SO/ Sotogrande Resort & Spa represents an excellent opportunity to introduce the brand in Spain and operate an emblematic property within our network, which is currently experiencing rapid growth,” said Marc Dardenne, CEO of Accor luxury brands in Europe.

The new facility which will open in spring 2021 will become one of the most exclusive destinations in the Mediterranean, and will offer guests 151 rooms, 24 suites, large panoramic gardens, five swimming pools, nine dining rooms, over 2,000 square meters of wellness facilities and 1,000 square meters of meeting and conference space.

Home to some of Europe’s most renowned golf courses, Sotogrande is located on the southern coast of the Iberian Peninsula, between Gibraltar and Marbella and near the region’s extensive nature reserve.
