Maserati will present a hybrid Ghibli in Beijing during spring

The presentation of the first Maserati hybrid model, developed around the Ghibli sedan, is expected to take place on April 21 at the China Auto Show in Beijing.

The manufacturer of the trident is accelerating the electrification of its entire range and, according to the market chart presented a few weeks ago, is preparing new products that will be presented at the beginning of the year.

After this new hybrid version of the Maserati Ghibli, a model whose production last year exceeded 100,000 units, the electrified versions of Maserati Quattroporte and Levante will follow later in 2022 and 2023. The first 100% electric model of the Modena manufacturer will be a GranTurismo with a renewed design, which will also be available later in the GranCabrio version, whose arrival is scheduled for 2021.

Unpublished models from the Italian manufacturer are also planned, including a sports car that could be presented next March as part of the Geneva Motor Show. The new vehicle would initially be presented with a thermal engine, before being also the subject of an electrified version.
