This model was born from the success of the M44 and the shipyard’s desire to listen to its customers by creating a more spacious model.

The M49 features an interior layout offering two large accommodation cabins and two bathrooms. The forward owner’s cabin can be configured with a large double bed or with five single berths. The guest cabin position just aft to port comes standard with a double berth and an additional berth that can be converted into stowage space.

The helm station features a double driver’s seat and a large instrument console that can accommodate two 12 "plotter / radar screens. A stainless-steel framed sliding door provides access to the side decks.

In front of the helm station is the dinette characterized by a large U-shaped sofa and a large dining table, adjustable in height.

The cockpit consists of an L-shaped sofa to the left with a height-adjustable table, which can be transformed into a sun lounger or an occasional outdoor double berth. Aft is a large beach club with stainless steel railings.

Powered by two Yanmar 8LV-370 8-cylinder diesel engines, the ship can reach a maximum speed of 31 knots.
