What makes it a new benchmark in the world of racing cars is the super capacitor, which, according to Lamborghini, is responsible for 10 times more energy storage than a standard lithium ion battery.

"Sián’s innovative hybrid engine confirms the direction Lamborghini has taken in the super sports car sector," said Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, in the official announcement.

This extraordinary car can reach speeds of over 350 km / h with an acceleration that takes it from 0 to 100 in less than 2.9 seconds. Of course all this power is not only generated by the electric motor, in fact when the 130 km / h is exceeded the 12-cylinder beast comes into action and rests under the gaudy hood.

The car, although with some tricks, takes its cue, in its aesthetics, from the design of the famous Lamborghini Countach LP400 designed by Marcello Gandini, including its very low front.

Presented to the public in Lamborghini’s Urano Blue with an interior dressed in white and blue, the car can be completely adapted to the preferences of the buyer by the carmaker’s Ad Personam division.

Unfortunately, only 19 examples of the Sián Roadster will be made and, as expected, each has been pre-sold at the speed of light.
