The Prestige F4.3 occupies a particular position within the French shipyard’s range. At 13.07 metres overall, it is the entry point to the new-generation F-Line, a family that in 2026 extends all the way to the new F6.7. Yet describing this 43-footer simply as the smallest model would miss the point of the project: the F4.3 aims to concentrate within manageable dimensions an approach to yachting based on natural light, social spaces and a continuous relationship with the outdoors.
Rather than simply trying to imitate a larger yacht, it uses its available space to create areas that change function throughout the day, making the transition from saloon to cockpit, flybridge to bathing platform feel natural.
The flybridge becomes an outdoor room
On a yacht just over 13 metres long, the flybridge represents a significant part of the available living space. Prestige has organised it around a large U-shaped seating area capable of accommodating six people around the table.
The modular arrangement can also be transformed into a generous sunbathing area. An optional refrigerator can be installed beneath the dining table.
Rather than simply serving as a second helm station, the flybridge therefore becomes a genuine outdoor living area: somewhere to have lunch, spend much of the day or simply enjoy a different perspective over the sea.
The galley looks towards the cockpit
One of the project’s most distinctive features is what Prestige calls the Ocean View Galley. The kitchen is positioned to face aft and communicate directly with the cockpit through large sliding side openings.
This choice changes the traditional organisation of the interior. Preparing food is no longer an activity separated from social life on board. Whoever is in the galley can remain involved with what is happening outside and, when the openings are fully used, the division between saloon and cockpit becomes much less apparent.
It is an approach particularly suited to Mediterranean cruising, where for much of the season the day naturally moves between interior and exterior spaces.
Aft, the sea comes closer
The cockpit features C-shaped seating oriented towards the water. Just a few steps aft lead to the hydraulic bathing platform, one of the areas with the most direct connection to the sea.
Prestige also offers an optional outdoor galley with grill and sink. This allows the aft section of the yacht to function almost independently from the saloon during a day at anchor.
The interest lies not simply in adding more equipment, but in how these elements are positioned. Flybridge, cockpit, galley and platform create a sequence of spaces intended more for spending time in than merely moving through.
Two cabins, with space that can adapt
Below deck, the owner’s suite is positioned amidships, taking advantage of the yacht’s maximum 4.10-metre beam. The VIP cabin is forward and receives natural light through the hull windows.
Prestige offers layouts with either one or two bathrooms. When additional guests are on board, the saloon can also be converted into an extra double berth, explaining the shipyard’s stated accommodation capacity of four plus two.
Keeping two principal cabins allows more of the available volume to be dedicated to everyday comfort. Wardrobes, storage areas, provision for laundry equipment, natural ventilation in the saloon and air conditioning all help make the F4.3 suitable not only for day trips but also for longer stays aboard.
The new F-Line starts here
The yacht is designed by Garroni Design, with interior decoration by Valentina Militerno de Romedis.
The F4.3 belongs to the new-generation F-Line alongside the F4.9 and F5.7, a family that gained a new flagship in September 2026 with the F6.7, unveiled as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Prestige also used the French show to announce a substantial expansion of its product strategy, with six new models planned over twelve months and the forthcoming C-Line and Y-Line.
The F4.3 therefore provides another way of looking at this evolution: not through ever-increasing dimensions, but through the challenge of bringing the same Prestige philosophy into a more compact and manageable yacht.
30 knots without making performance the whole story
Power comes from twin Volvo D6 440 hp engines with V-Drive transmission. Prestige quotes a maximum speed of 30 knots and an expected cruising speed of 22 knots.
Fuel capacity is 1,170 litres and fresh water capacity 330 litres. Declared light displacement is 11,107 kg, increasing to 15,415 kg at full load, while draught is 1.19 metres.
These figures are entirely appropriate for the model’s purpose, but performance does not appear to be the centre of the story. The F4.3 is built largely around what happens when speed drops: stopping in front of a Mediterranean cove, having lunch on the flybridge, opening the cockpit towards the sea or spending an evening on board.
13 metres can be enough to change perspective
At a time when Prestige is expanding towards larger yachts and opening new segments, the F4.3 is a reminder that the quality of the onboard experience does not necessarily increase in direct proportion to length.
Within 13.07 metres, the design brings together several different ways of enjoying the same day: the elevated view from the flybridge, the sociability of the aft-facing galley, the privacy of the cabins and direct access to the water from the bathing platform.
This may be the F4.3’s most interesting characteristic. It does not rely on exceptional size to make an impression, but uses the space it has to bring people closer to the sea.
And in the Mediterranean, where some of the best moments on board begin once the engines are switched off, that perspective makes considerable sense.
