ELVI brings the new Swan 80 to Mediterranean charter with three cabins and accommodation for up to seven guests

Sailing across the Mediterranean, changing course when a quiet bay appears and approaching a different coastline each day can turn a holiday into a genuine journey. This is the experience offered by ELVI, a new Swan 80 sailing yacht entering the charter market with Mediterranean availability currently scheduled from June 2027.

A new approach to sailing yacht charter

Delivered in 2026, ELVI belongs to the latest Swan 80 generation developed by Nautor Swan. Current charter listings describe her as the only yacht of this model available for charter at the time of publication.

With a hull length of 23.99 metres and a beam of 6.40 metres, ELVI remains just below the 24-metre threshold. The design combines the volume and offshore capabilities associated with a maxi yacht with a more flexible and manageable format suitable for extended cruising.

Three designers shape the Swan 80

The yacht brings together several names closely associated with contemporary Swan design. Germán Frers developed the naval architecture, Lucio Micheletti created the exterior styling and Misa Poggi designed the interiors.

A low-profile coachroof, a long teak deck and clean surfaces give the yacht an elegant yet purposeful appearance. Twin helm stations, twin rudders and carefully positioned controls are intended to provide precision both when ELVI is fully crewed and during more compact sailing operations.

An aft cockpit that changes throughout the day

The exterior spaces have been designed to support different uses. While sailing, the cockpit remains clear and practical. At anchor, it becomes an outdoor lounge and dining area where guests can relax without losing their connection with the surrounding sea.

The opening transom creates a generous bathing platform with direct access to the water. It also makes boarding the tender easier and turns the stern into a private terrace during long afternoons spent in a Mediterranean anchorage.

Flexible accommodation for up to seven guests

ELVI can welcome six or seven guests in three en-suite cabins. One arrangement offers three double cabins, while the alternative includes two doubles and one twin cabin with an additional Pullman berth.

This flexibility makes the yacht suitable for couples, families or small groups of friends. The interiors favour a bright and contemporary atmosphere, balancing private accommodation with comfortable spaces where guests can dine and spend time together.

A professional crew of three manages navigation, hospitality and cuisine, adapting the daily programme to the preferences of those on board.

Discovering the Mediterranean under sail

According to the currently published charter programme, ELVI will operate in the Caribbean from December 2026 until April 2027 before becoming available in the Mediterranean from June 2027.

Her listed cruising areas include the central and western Mediterranean, with possible itineraries covering the French Riviera, Monaco, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, mainland Italy and the Balearic Islands. Routes will depend on yacht availability, weather conditions and the preferences of the charter guests.

A journey where time at sea has real value

ELVI has a published cruising speed of 9 knots. Rather than treating the passage between destinations as a simple transfer, the yacht is designed to make sailing itself an essential part of the holiday.

Guests can adjust the route, extend a passage when conditions are favourable or select a more sheltered anchorage for the night. This creates a less predictable and more personal way to explore the Mediterranean, with coastlines and islands gradually revealing themselves from the sea.

Contemporary comfort away from the marina

Published facilities include air conditioning, watermakers, Wi-Fi with 4G or 5G connectivity, a Bluetooth sound system and an aft platform providing convenient access to the water.

ELVI also carries a 3.6-metre Ribline tender powered by a 40hp Yamaha outboard engine. These features make it possible to spend longer periods at anchor while retaining easy access to beaches, marinas and waterfront destinations.

Published charter rate and availability

The listed weekly charter rate starts from €58,000. VAT, APA and other expenses such as fuel, food, marina fees and operating costs are charged separately under the charter agreement.

Rates, cruising areas and available dates may change according to the season and existing bookings. ELVI nevertheless offers an appealing option for guests seeking a contemporary sailing yacht that combines Swan performance, personalised service and a more natural way of experiencing the Mediterranean.
