Arriving in Costa Smeralda aboard a yacht means entering one of the Mediterranean’s most recognisable landscapes. Yet even in the world’s most exclusive destinations, the quality of a stay is shaped by more than beautiful waters or an exceptional vessel. The real difference often lies behind the scenes, where transfers, reservations, crew support and activities ashore must be coordinated with accuracy and discretion.
This is the space in which LXRY1 has developed its services. Based in Porto Cervo, the company has expanded its offering for the 2026 summer season, providing owners, guests and charter clients with integrated support throughout their stay in Sardinia.
One point of contact from sea to shore
The idea is easy to describe, although far more complex to deliver: giving clients a single contact capable of managing a wide range of requirements. Coordination may begin before the yacht arrives and continue throughout the stay in port, the cruise along the coastline and any onward journey to another destination.
The concierge service supports private and charter yachts, assists crews, handles reservations and arranges personalised experiences ashore. Rather than dealing with isolated requests, the aim is to create a central organisation connecting every stage of the journey without forcing guests or captains to manage several unrelated suppliers.
Mobility becomes part of the journey
In contemporary yachting, a journey rarely begins or ends at the marina. Guests may reach Sardinia by private aircraft, continue by helicopter or car and board the yacht only a few hours later. A day at sea may likewise be followed by dinner, an event or a transfer to another part of the island.
LXRY1 brings together private jet and helicopter connections, luxury and sports car rental, chauffeured transport and personalised assistance at airports and heliports. Sea, land and air become parts of a single itinerary designed around the client’s schedule and preferences.
The discreet side of luxury
True exclusivity is not always defined by what can be seen. It can be found in the absence of unnecessary waiting, in a rapid response to an unexpected change and in the feeling that every step has already been considered.
This less visible form of luxury is based on continuity, reliability and the ability to adapt. It reflects the expectations of international guests who may change their plans during the day and require solutions without disrupting the pace of their holiday.
A centralised service can make those changes easier to manage while preserving the discretion expected by owners, families and charter guests.
Porto Cervo as a Mediterranean base
Operating from Porto Cervo places the company within one of the Mediterranean’s best-known yachting destinations. Local knowledge becomes particularly valuable during the busiest weeks of the summer, when distances, availability and timing can influence even the most carefully prepared programme.
Costa Smeralda is not simply a cruising area. It is a network of marinas, hotels, restaurants, events, beaches and international transport connections. Bringing these elements together can create a smoother stay in which the yacht remains central without limiting the opportunity to explore the island.
Practical support for captains and crews
Every effortless holiday at sea is supported by a considerable amount of operational work. Captains and crew members must deal with reservations, logistics, transport arrangements and frequent changes of plan, often during periods when local services are under significant pressure.
A dedicated yachting concierge can reduce this workload by providing local contacts and centralised coordination. The service therefore benefits not only owners and guests but also the professionals responsible for ensuring that life on board continues without unnecessary interruption.
Beyond concierge services
Alongside its seasonal operations, LXRY1 continues to develop its international yacht brokerage activities. The company has been appointed Central Agent for the sale of the Dreamline DL28 and has entered into an agreement with ILC Yachts to promote a range of custom aluminium yachts measuring between 24 and 40 metres.
This brokerage activity broadens the relationship with clients beyond their time in Costa Smeralda. Assistance may extend to chartering, purchasing, selling or identifying a yacht designed around individual cruising plans.
A more connected Costa Smeralda
The expansion of specialist yachting services also reflects a wider change in the way holidays at sea are experienced. The yacht remains the centre of the journey, but it is increasingly surrounded by a network of destinations, events and transport options requiring different areas of expertise.
LXRY1 approaches this evolution through a model in which sea, land and air are not treated as separate environments. For the guest, the result is the freedom to experience Sardinia at a personal pace. The complexity remains in the background, managed by a single organisation while the journey continues naturally.
